Bridgart’s Orchard and Gourmet Preserves

Bridgart's Orchard set amongst the towering karri trees in the clean and green hills of the Scotsdale valley in Denmark on the South Coast of Western Australia grow a wide range of fruits and asparagus which are sold as fresh produce or embraced in the range of hand made gourmet preserves. The much acclaimed “zingy tamarillo chutney, chilli asparagus and chilli PEPPAS™ in sweet marinade” and other taste sensations can be purchased by mail order or from select gourmet stores in Western Australia.

Luscious tree ripened, sweet, crunchy apples to tempt taste buds through autumn and winter. Royal gala, jonagold, splendor, braeburn, fuji, pink lady, are but a few of the thirteen varieties grown. Citrus and other fruits are available as seasonal conditions dictate.

At any one market there could be thirty, of the forty or so farmers registered, selling seasonal fruits and vegetables, meats (venison, free range poultry, beef and ostrich), seafood, eggs, bread, honey, yoghurt and cheese, oils, nuts, jams pickles and chutneys, flowers, cookies and a great cup of coffee.
